Burgess Hill U10’s (328 for 2) beat Bolney (227) by 101 runs.
Burgess Hill managed a colossal 328 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets on what was a difficult batting pitch, including a great knock by Jake Armstrong at the end of the innings. Only losing 2 wickets is brilliant work so well done to all of the boys.
Bowling was also very tight with just 6 extras being bowled in the 20 overs restricting Bolney to just 227. Highlights include a brilliant direct hit run out from Hayden Wickwar and Millie Wickwar’s 2 maiden overs including a wicket maiden thanks to tom Izard’s well taken catch behind the stumps.
