Net Bookings

Burgess Hill CC Cricket Nets Bookings Procedure

  • The nets will be available for use from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. each day of the week. Please note Monday to Friday the nets are occupied for club training from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 .p.m.
  • Only six people (or two households) at any one time can use the net.
  • All use must be booked in advance by using the following link – https://bhccnets.skedda.com
  • Each session will be for a maximum of 50 minutes.
  • Nets will be opened in the morning prior to the 1st session and closed by the youth team manager that has the last booking.
  • Net 1 (closest to Pavilion) should be booked first, followed by net 2.
  • If using net two you will be required to move the batting cage out of the net for your session and then put back in after your session.
  • Please note the batting cage ideally needs two adults to manoeuvre in and out of the net as it’s a rather tight fit!
  • At the end of each session users are responsible for wiping down the locks and the handles of the security gates with disinfectant wipes or similar. It is recommended that users also do this when they start their session.
  • Please also close the gate of the nets but don’t lock them with the padlock at the end of your session.
  • If you use the key in the store cupboard to access the nets, please ensure the key is replaced back on the hook.
  • You must use your own cricket equipment. The club will leave two sets of spring back stumps in the nets for everyone to use.
  • You must observe social distancing at all times.
  • The main pavilion is locked down and not available for use at any time.
  • There is to be no unauthorised usage.
  • If the guidelines are not complied with the club will be forced to close the nets. We occupy a highly visible and prominent area. It is inevitable that failure to comply with the Government’s guidelines will result in the club being reported to the Authorities.
