Burgess Hill CC are very pleased to announce that they have yet again been awarded a ‘Magic Little Grant’ from Localgiving through their partnership with the Postcode Community Trust. They distributed £215,000 in grants to 430 small charities and community groups delivering sports or physical activities across the UK of which BHCC were one.
Magic Little Grants Fund provides small charities and community groups the opportunity to access funding to deliver engaging physical activities, which help to overcome barriers to participation. The funding has enabled the club to develop and establish women’s softball cricket with the purchase of additional new equipment and enable players to become qualified coaches. This will make an enormous difference for our women and girls who are new to cricket.
